So how was your trip ? You've written thank yous to chaperones, and you've suggested dos and don'ts to next year's 8th graders. In your Close-Up project you'll take your thinking to a new level as you explore your theme in depth at the memorial of your choice in addition to other places where you saw your theme displayed. In your scrapbook, you'll document your friends and favorite places... forever.
.
This is your chance to help us do D.C. better. Your feedback here will help us plan a better trip for students next year- and will also help us better coach you and evaluate you on your D.C. projects this year.

Understanding that more time one place would mean less time some place else, where would you have liked to have spent more time and why ? How could chaperones better help students take full advantage of the different places on our itinerary? What more could teachers do before the trip to prepare students for the trip? How might student's be more involved in planning the trip itinerary as well as activities during the trip? If we could do more with less, which 5 places or activities do you think should always be a part of the D.C. trip ? Which 2 places or activities could be dropped ? Which places that we didn't have on our itinerary would you have liked to have visited ? Next time you go to D.C. what are you going to go back to and see again ?
